The continued saga of the 56 Buildout

If I had to do it over again, it would be a planned project instead of an evolving project.
Once the frame was removed,  it was repaired and straightened,  the broken  body mounts repaired and the breaks  in the cross supports fixed.  The powder coating  makes it look brand new.

A neat Trick

The steering rod passes through the motor mount on it's way to the rack.
.There's more to the front conversion than a little torch work. The new motor mounts are custom designed. The left side of the frame which has been radius out to allow the AC compressor to fit is visible just in front of the motor mount. The new firewall has been fabricated and tacked in place.

Lots of room for the AC Compressor in the radius out frame
The Ford 9" butt fits nicely in place.  I'm currently running a 3:55

Finally got rid of the orange paint.
The  firewall  gets its  finishing touches and prepped  for painting.
