Upgrades are always taking place but these were recent in the last year or so....
Brakes, Ahhhh, where to begin!! I started out with 11" Disc's that came with the Heidt front Clip. Hindsight says they would have been enought if I had just used enough boost. The LS1 only provides 14in of vacuum and these need at least 24in. I was running a 9" vacuum booster and just couldn't get enough stopping power. I, of course, assumed the brakes weren't big enough. Enter the Wilwood 13/12 front/rear disc combination. These units were also drilled and slotted but didn't work any better than the ones I had on the car. Disappointed? Oh, Yeah......

Wilwood 13in Front Disc
So, If it wasn't the disc brakes, what was it? Turns out that after I found low available vacuum, I tried an electric pump to supplement the vacuum. Big mistake. Very noisy and ran most of the time. Then one car show I stumbled across a fellow using a hydroboost braking system with a Chevy big block. Turns out most motors with a big cam have vacuum problems as well. I was almost to the point of going back to manual brakes but took a look at what he had. Pretty simple. Just bleed a bit of fluid off the power steering rack and you have all the boost you need. The complete boost kit was around 800 bucks. Now I have brakes and plenty of them.

That's all there is to it, minus the hoses to hook things up.

Custom Rear Views
My Builder found these in a motorcycle mag and modified the stem to fit a 59 vette center rear view post which used to mount on the dash. These rearviews have an Amber LED series in front for turns and an imbeded red arrow in the glass for rears.
